ANNUAL REPORT WEBSITE
COMPLETES EIGHT YEARS

MARSHALL, Mich., May 1, 2004.—Sid Cato's "official" annual report website has completed eight years of existence, with more than 93,000 visitors from around the world.

Sid Cato, editor publisher of his self-named Newsletter on Annual Reports, said his site—www.sidcato.com—averaged nearly a thousand visitors a month since debuting the end of April 1996. He said it is updated, at a minimum, "several times every week."

Cato introduced his monthly print newsletter in September 1983. His May 2004 issue is, then, No. 249. Its subscribers primarily are producers, here and abroad, of a company's "key corporate communiqué," as he refers to the annual report to shareholders.

Purely personal: USA Today named John Hillkirk its executive editor. Hillkirk, along with Gary Jacobson (formerly with USA Today), co-wrote a book, "Grit, Guts & Genius," that included a chapter on Cato.
